The Story of
Derpy Dave
The Diagnosis
At 12 years old, while other kids were outside playing, one kid was lying in bed with a back brace. Diagnosed with a spinal condition that changed everything. The world got smaller. The walls got closer. But the imagination? That only got bigger.
The Drawing
With nothing but time and a notebook, he started drawing. A goofy purple face. A crooked hat. Eyes that looked everywhere except where you'd expect. He gave the character a name: Derpy Dave. It wasn't perfect. It wasn't supposed to be. It was real.
The Beginning
This is not where the story ends. This is where it begins. Derpy Dave became more than a drawing. He became a feeling. If you've ever felt like the world has been bringing you down, or like maybe you just don't belong, then you are DerpyAF. And you should be proud of it.
